We started exploring potty training several weeks ago. Mama bought the kid-sized potty, toilet seat adapter, hand-washing stool, and several books to encourage and hype-up “the potty”. We even got lucky a couple times and Isabel went potty while sitting on her own potty. (She also crapped on the floor next to the potty because I stopped paying attention for about 30 seconds.)
But she isn’t quite ready. The time will come, and when it does, I hope that I can instill in her the same fearlessness of using public toilets that I have. I’ve been told that “it’s different” for women, and I can respect that. But when nature calls, you gotta take care of it. And I have no problem using the bathroom at the mall, doctor’s office, or other public place if necessary.
The only problem with my high level of comfortability is that, well, let’s just say I’ve done a few “home poos”. But you know what, I’m human, and shit happens. (As usual, watch to the end.)
