That face you see above? The face of, “You just took away my screen!” I know it’s coming sooner than later, and I already fear it (along with the ensuing whining sure to follow).
Isabel already claws her way to get the iPhone, iPad, computer, or any other screen within eye sight. Trying to hide the phone even has a small success rate; the sneaky savvy monster cranes her neck and finds it within seconds, then stiff-arms me to retrieve it. And now that she can crawl, it’s only a matter of time before we find her standing inches from the TV soaking in whatever harmful stuff the scientists say is emitted from plasma.
So when she’s old enough to play games, watch “educational content,” or (gasp!) text, prying the device from her little hands will probably go something like this…
