“Bum Crack” – Convos With My 2-Year-Old

Another episode of Convos With My 2 Year Old has landed!

Mrs. FWL wanted to be a teacher her whole life and now she actually teaches at our old high school, so I know she will literally melt into a puddle of happy tears the day Isabel wants to play “school.” I can see her now, sitting in a kid-sized chair, leaning in for Isabel’s first lesson on the importance of cleaning up your toys, using “gentle hands” with the cats, or eating all your food. (A dad can dream, right?!)

But is she ready for this?

Is she ready for the conversations that start in one direction, suddenly veer into another and never find their way back to the start? Probably more so than me. I start getting impatient talking to toddlers after about the third “Why?”.

I’m screwed.

But hey, at least I learned a little about “bum cracks” today.
