Isabel calls us mama and papa, well, call ourselves that, so who knows what that the heck she’s going to call us when she can talk. Right now, we are happy with one of her huge grins and a scream.
Some have said “mama” and “papa” are a little old-fashioned, but we like the ring both have. They just sound so natural. David Vienna of The Daddy Complex, and inventor of the CTFD method of parenting, created a puppet show series called “Fighting with Babies.” Unfortunately the show is on an indefinite hiatus due to the space requirements of his set – which apparently is huge. I offered our backyard, so we’ll see.
This one really resonated with me as I can only imagine the gibberish going on in Isabel’s head when we try and convince her of our self-imposed titles.
